Alaska Aluminum is developing a long-term strategy to build a connected Alaska aluminum ecosystem spanning material recovery, advanced processing, and future opportunities for secondary production and manufacturing.

Our near-term focus is developing reliable, specification-controlled aluminum supply for established downstream processors and manufacturers, while evaluating long-term opportunities to expand value-added processing and production within Alaska.

Alaska's economy depends on industries that rely heavily on aluminum, including commercial fishing, marine transportation, mining, aviation, energy, craft breweries, and construction.

Every year these industries generate valuable aluminum that can remain in productive use through responsible recovery and advanced materials processing. Alaska has the opportunity to strengthen its industrial future by keeping more of that value within the state.

Aluminum is not waste. It is a permanent resource that's infinitely recyclable and can create jobs, strengthen domestic manufacturing, and reduce the environmental impact of producing new metal.
